Shortly after doing MC, Jason set to work on the next song.

It simply started as just the acoustic guitar. And after many conversations and suggestions from Allen, the song began to take shape.

Of the songs to date, this took the longest from concept to final mix down.

After Jason had completed the musical bed, Allen wrote the lyrics and recorded some perfectly fit lead guitar fills and solo runs. Then Allen began work on the Egyptian-mythos based lyrics.

To ask Allen, he says he was at a lyrical loss. However he began to ask “What would Eddie do?” (Eddie being the Iron Maiden mascot of whom he has a poster of on his studio wall).

He drew inspiration from the ancient, dark base that metal was rooted in during the eighties.

He sent Jason the finished vocal tracks and guitar parts to mix in.

The end result is a dark, power metal tune with Allen’s power vocals fully taking the listener on a journey through time!

Note: After this post, Allen and Jason set to remixing this one. Jason added another electric part, and re-mixed the drums. Allen added two more electric parts, two more acoustic parts, re-sang the vocals, re-recorded the fills and leads... whew... then re-mixed it all together!

The result...

                             -Metal!!!
