Apart from all the strife and controversy that has plagued this community of late I have watched ( and listened with great interest ) to the tremendous songs that have been created by Montgomery California and their respective collaborators Faelin and RAD Project. I am astonished by how polished and powerful their songs are. At the same time I feel that they are not getting the attention they deserve.

Musically they epitomize what great hard rock is all about:

Excellent lyrics

Tremendously written performed and powerful riffs

Awesome melodies, ( very melodic without being contrived & cliche

Strong musicianship ( guitar, bass and vocals are top notch )

Arangements that are stirring and evocative

Talent talent and more talent

To my ears they have the "IT" factor.

You will note that I am not affiliated with their project I just feel that attention needs to brought to tremendous music being created in the midst of this community.

I hope my post draws some listeners over to their page and opens up some ears to yet another set of artists on this site who possess formidable talent.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you check them out.

Regards,

Norman Goodman”

“Montgomery California is RAD and Faelin? AWESOME! This kicks ass! When you combine Jason's songwriting with Allen's voice and production talents you guys are unbeatable!... I love the vocal harmonies, and I really like the guitar harmonies. The solo is melodic with some very clean tremelo picking. The mix is full with bass and drums giving a solid low-end ground, highs filled with lead guitar and vocals, and mids filled by rhythm guitar. Dude, I would so totally buy a CD of this stuff.”

“It's almost like hearing this, you should be a mega rock star. But I guess there is so much competition for that type of thing. It is pretty tough to get that high in rock stardom. But it amazes me how much incredible rock talent passes through here. Hopefully, the rock-out - fans and others will take a liking to this fabulous singing and playing. Cause it seem like an agent should be picking this stuff up. But I am not an agent nor that knowledgeable in all that is rock. But you should be congratulated in getting this good!”

What Thetiler said: you need an agent. If I knew how that works, I'd be first in line to sign you up. This is just superb and I am glad I stopped by to listen. Wonderful production quality all around and some impassioned vocals and great lead guitar riffs. Are you working on a CD? You should be.

“You guys blow me away. This is sensational. Excellent playing all around. I have never been much of a rock guitarist and when I hear such talented playing I am full of admiration..... ok envy as well. Singing is out of this world. Great song .... the melody is perfect!!!! Well done!”

“The vocals remind me of "Again" by alice in chains, perhaps it's the harmonies? This is quite different then what I've been hearing from the main stream as well. Uniqueness is a wondrous feet to accomplish in this day and age. You all demonstrate vast talent and blend well together. “What a track - jeez, the guitars are just thunderous on this. fantastic vocals .... you are indeed our worst nightmare.

Tottaly pro quality, and better than most metal songs I've heard in years.

Fantastic track guys...”

“.. mean and dirty. Thumpingly awesome .. a great tradition to resuscitate. Chunky playing with nice

squeal (artificial harmonics) touches. The lead parts

dotted here and there blend nicely as acompaniment and not dominating, which is great. Nice use of stops too ..

vocals are excellent from you both. Main solo is

sweet too. As I mentioned in chat to Jason earlier, I

was wondering how on earth you'ld sing "Montgomery

California" so it would not only fit, but be worthy/

cathcy hook for a chorus .. and you pulled it off ..

and the classic extra pause bit between Montgomery ...

California near the end is yet another great touch...”

“I love the way the strings start together with the intro. It was a WALL of sound hitting you in the face. It has a very evil undertone. By the end of this I was throwin' up the devil horns! Let me say DAMN! on that note in the end Allen, It sent chills up my spine! I gotta say it, this F***ING ROCKS!!!! Mix, production, performance, all ten's in my book. This had so many great aspects I could go on for hours.

Congrats you two. The dynamic duo strike again!

Peace. BTW, "I!!!!!!!!!" “

I am positively one of those screaming fans in this song!! This is one cool song guys! Truly awesome work throughout. Guitars sound right on and the singing is top notch. No complaints until I get that ticket! :) “

the vocal in particular just seems to jump out. rock radio ready. the music is the perfect foil. love the slow wind up, while the car pumps to all 8 cylinders. crowd noises fit like a glove. super mix”

“This rocks. It's hard and heavy, without losing focus or clarity. Great guitar sounds (love the sound on the lead), nice drum sounds, and terrific vocal - a powerful voice. The mix is very nicely done - nothing is lost, and nothing overwhelms (except the whole song, in a good way!) Honestly, this is better than most of the hard rock you can hear on radio these days. Great collab - you guys really are on a roll. Nicely done. Peace.”

You guys struck the right chord with this one, fantastic!

Heavy yet not cluttered and grinding, just right on all levels...”

Indeed - not only is this the standard by which all GB4 recordings in this genre should be compared to for recording quality and mix .. all the performances are even more impressive. A true epic....

...To my ears I hear a brilliant novel blend reminiscent of Alice in Chains "what the hell have I" with some Metallica inspired elements too.... I really love the acoustic break too..

all more than ready for radio, CD, download and stage....”
